"Wir waren im Rahmen einer Hotelübernachtung im Bill‘s essen. Das Fleisch und die dazu gereichte Sauce hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Vorweg gab es einen tollen Gruß aus der Küche. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und wollen daher eine positive Rezension hinterlassen, denn die aktuelle Bewertung von 3,7 wird dem Restaurant in keinster Weise gerecht. Wir können das Essen hier sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!"

"Wir waren im Wellness-Wochenende unterwegs und sind am ersten Abend direkt ins Restaurant gegangen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, unsere Jacken abgenommen und ein Tisch zugewiesen, das Personal war wahnsinnig freundlich und elegant, wusste was es tut uns war sehr aufmerksam! Verliebt hab ich mich in die Vorspeise, das Beeftartar und auch der Rest war wahnsinnig großartig und man konnte sich die Reste auch einpacken lassen. Das Essen war wundervoll angerichtet und die Teller erwärmt! Am 3. Tag waren wir nochmal da und ich fragte frecherweise nach dem Rezept, die Kellnerin (Fr. Schwär) ging sofort in die Küche und fragte nach, eine Weile später kam der Koch (Hr. Mahns (vielleicht falsch geschrieben, tut mir leid)) und gab mir tatsächlich persönlich und in aller Ruhe Tips um es Zuhause ähnlich zubereiten zu können!! Das war mein persönliches Highlight. Auch am 3. Abend war das Essen einfach ein Traum, insbesondere das Steak mit Spinat und Sauce Bernaise. Ich weiß nicht von wann die restlichen und negativen Rezensionen sind und wann und was sich vielleicht verändert hat von da bis jetzt aber für mich war es ein 1000Sterne-Erlebnis!!! Danke an alle Mitarbeiter für die wunderbare Zeit und das atemberaubend gute Essen!"

Der Service ist erstklassig – professionell, aufmerksam und dabei immer herzlich. Ein besonderer Dank gilt Frau Zickenheiner, die mit ihrer Freundlichkeit, Professionalität und ihrem Engagement jeden Besuch zu etwas Besonderem macht. "A beautiful restaurant inside the literal castle that is the iconic Petersberg Hotel. Simply getting to the restaurant from your room feels like a small journey through history — the long corridors and grand interiors add to the atmosphere and sense of mystery, particularly given the hotel’s storied past. You pass by a few other dining spaces before reaching Bill’s, where the wood-paneled entrance and terrace views immediately set the tone. The view over the Rhine Valley is stunning, and dining outdoors on the terrace is a highlight when the weather allows. Staff are generally kind and pleasant, though a little characteristically “German” in their approach — efficient and friendly, but not particularly polished or elegant. With some refinement and additional training, the overall atmosphere could easily reach true luxury standards. The food was quite good, though perhaps a little traditional and slightly old-fashioned in both presentation and flavor. Still, it suited the timeless style of the property. Contrary to some of the more critical reviews, I found the pricing perfectly reasonable. Anyone who has dined in Paris or London’s luxury venues would likely agree this is fair value. The décor, like much of the hotel, feels like a charming time capsule — full of grandeur and history, but in need of a gentle refresh. Payment processing could also be modernized; the card system didn’t work properly during my visit, though charging to the room and settling at checkout worked fine. Overall, Bill’s is a beautiful restaurant in one of Germany’s most historic and unique hotels. While a touch more polish and modernization would help, it remains a memorable place to dine — particularly for the setting, view, and sense of timelessness."

"We're staying at the hotel but didn't make a booking - which was a bit silly because they were really busy. We showed up to the restaurant and requested a table and instead of turning us away, they opened the events area for us to sit (ultimately quite a few guests ended up in the same area). They didn't even ask if we were hotel guests. That definitely set the bar for the service for the rest of the night, and they delivered. Our table server was so incredibly lovely so big shout out to IZ, who asked if we'd like to order in German or English. She was efficient, attentive and polite. The food! I'm not sure why the other reviews are so scathing, but our dinner was definitely one of the most memorable. The burrata was delicious, the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef cheek was melt in your mouth. The portions looked a little small I admit (apart from the pasta which was an intimidating large bowl) but turns out they were perfect and we were all stuffed without room for dessert. Food came quick, was hot and fresh. Had a great night and considering it was a last minute decision to come, we're really glad we did. 2 adults + 1 older child."
